Organic, ethereal, natural, classic, timeless and light & airy--these are the words that describe the aesthetic of the images you will receive. I have the perfect locations picked out and available for my clients-- beach, in a field or in your home.

We'll meet on our scheduled day and time at your chosen location. I'll guide you through the session so that you don't need to worry about getting the "right" shots. You and your family can just relax and enjoy the moment. In fact, I often use a "child-led" technique so that your precious ones are the true stars of the show.

Once your images are ready, you'll have access to your own online preview gallery of hand-edited images.
In addition to any digital files included in your session, you will be able to invest in high-quality prints and heirloom artwork. The Collection choices include additional digital files, custom matted and framed fine art cotton prints, bespoke handcrafted linen albums, custom paper birth announcements. I even offer in-home design services to really take your wall art to another level!

From the time that you place your order and make your payment in full, it can take anywhere between 4 and 6 weeks for your order to be delivered to you depending on the heirloom collection and/or artwork that you choose. Please allow for an extra cushion around holidays.
HOW LONG does it take to receive my order?
Signature sessions last about one hour; however, I don't rush though your session since creativity and children can't be pushed. Newborn sessions can take 2+ hours.
The Simplicity Session is a 30 minute mini-session.
HOW LONG DOES A SESSION TAKE?
Make sure you and your little ones are fed and well rested before your photo session.
I understand that families are busy; however, it is useful to not have things scheduled on the day of your session and even the night before. Tired and over-stimulated children appear that way in their photographs (as do adults!). On the day of your session, it is best to only bring the persons being photographed to prevent distractions. Tell little ones that your going to meet a friend that will take pictures and play games too. Kids can really pick up on our stress levels, so it's important to relax and have fun!
HOW SHOULD I PREPARE FOR OUR SESSION?
Clothing is an important part of creating a beautiful image and of highlighting the emotion between you and your loves. My aesthetic is natural and organic, and meant to capture the connections that you have with one another. Subtle colors such as pastels, whites, creams, grays and other neutrals unify the look of your family, helping to bring the emphasis on the emotion and not the clothes. Signature Session and Motherhood Collective clients receive the benefit of borrowing from my specially curated studio wardrobe of high-end dresses and gowns and baby and children's clothes. Babies are most beautiful showing off their pure and perfect skin, especially newborns, by dressing them in organic cottons and natural fabrics. Bare feet are always cute and natural for everyone.
